What do crowns comprise of?

Numerous materials are used to construct crowns, and new materials are continually introduced to the market. various procedures require various materials.

The tooth will be shaped appropriately for the crown. This will involve removing the majority of the tooth's outer surface, leaving a core. The crown will have the same thickness as the quantity of tooth that was extracted.

Once the tooth has been shaped, an impression of the prepared tooth, the opposing mandible, and the way you bite will be taken. All impressions will be sent to the technician who will fabricate a tooth-specific crown. To match the colour of the crown to the existing teeth, a laboratory visit will be necessary. A temporary crown will be placed on the prepared tooth until the permanent crown is available.

The treatment requires at least three office visits and one laboratory visit.
